Samsung to Start Charging for Some Galaxy AI Features in 2025

Starting from 2025, Samsung plans to introduce a fee for accessing certain functions of its AI system on the Galaxy devices. According to reports by GSMArena, currently all available Galaxy AI features in compatible devices are free.

However, one of the footnotes in Samsung's official press release for new tablets and smartphones like the Galaxy Tab S10 and Galaxy S24 FE explicitly states that some capabilities will become paid services in the future. The document notes, "A fee may be charged for certain artificial intelligence features by the end of 2025." It remains unclear which specific features will be subject to these charges and how much they will cost.

The details on whether these features will be available as a subscription package or individually purchased are yet to be disclosed.
