Digital Extremes Announces New Events for Popular Action-RPG Warframe

At the Tokyo Game Show 2024, studio Digital Extremes unveiled new developments for their popular action-RPG game, Warframe. The demonstration showcased an update titled "Comae and Five Judgments," as well as plans to release a demo version of Warframe: 1999. A major patch will be launched in the game on October 2nd.

Following this, Warframe will introduce a new hero named Comae, whose abilities are centered around luck. Additionally, a new mission titled "Sanctuary Defense" is set to launch. Players will protect a village by collecting Destiny Pearls for Comae against infected enemies. Comae will assist players with dice throws during the mission.

Developers also plan to fix bugs and rework Kali's abilities, making him more versatile. He can be obtained for free from October 2nd to October 16th. After this, the demo version of Warframe: 1999 will release, offering a skin "Protocol" for one-handed swords as a reward upon completion. Players will explore Helianna during this mission.

Warframe was released in 2013 and is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and iOS devices. The game revolves around players' struggle for power over the Solar System against various factions.
