HP Launches New AI for Easier Printing and Web Page Printing
Now printing documents and web pages will become much easier; no more wobbling tables or images.
According to The Verge, company HP has launched a new neural network for its printers. This does not mean that cheaper ink from third-party manufacturers can now be used in devices. The purpose of Print AI is different, primarily aiming at simplifying the printing process.
HP Print AI experience is currently exclusive and in beta version. For technology to work, a specific driver and Windows 10 or 11 must be installed on the computer. With regard to functionality, the Perfect Output option (IdeaL Result) allows cleaning up web pages or documents from unwanted content such as ads or strange formatting. This way, users can print only the required text and images.
Another feature of Perfect Output is arranging pages so that content does not shift and fits on a single sheet. Additionally, HP Print AI will offer optimization for spreadsheets and charts, placing them on one page without breaks.
The possibilities of HP Print AI will also be used for configuring user devices or providing support. The company claims its "intelligent technology" predicts customer needs; people can ask natural language questions to the chatbot and receive answers. The bot operates based on a large language model known as the "Printing Language Model" (PLM).
The full release of HP Print AI is scheduled for 2025, when development will come out of beta and gain several more useful features.
Earlier, a group of Chinese scientists from Zhejiang University created plant-based imitation yellow bean meat that can be produced using a 3D printer.
