Limited PS5 Pro Edition Already Resold for Thousands of Euros

The limited 30th Anniversary Edition of the PlayStation 5 Pro, which was reservable this morning, is now being resold for thousands of euros at various locations.

For instance, on Marktplaats, bundles are being offered for amounts up to 4499 euros. Additionally, some advertisements also include bidding, with some bids reaching 10,000 euros or more. Similar prices can be found on international eBay.

This morning, pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 Pro went live on Sony's official web store. While the regular PlayStation 5 Pro, which will be released on November 7th and costs 799,99 euros, was initially relatively easy to obtain, this was not the case for the special console edition made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of PlayStation. This edition costs 1099 euros and will be released on November 21st. Only 12,300 units of this limited edition are being produced worldwide.

The limited edition of the PlayStation 5 Pro comes with a DualSense controller, a DualSense Edge controller, a charging station, a disk drive cover that can be purchased separately, a vertical stand, a poster, and cables – all in the style of the original PlayStation.

The regular PlayStation 5 Pro is now also sold out on Sony's webshop. It is unknown when new units will become available. The special DualSense Edge controller and PlayStation Portal to celebrate the 30th anniversary are still reservable as of writing.
