Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Released at €799 Price - Comes with Galaxy AI Feature, Exynos 2400e Processor and IP68 Rating
Samsung has introduced a new Galaxy S24 FE smartphone, expanding the Galaxy S24 lineup with a more affordable option.
The Galaxy S24 FE was unveiled in five color variants: Graphite, Gray, Yellow, Mint, and Blue. In Europe, the Gray variant is not available for sale. The phone is made from aluminum alloy and Gorilla Glass Victus+ cover glass. Naturally, it comes with IP68-rated water and dust resistance. The dimensions are 162 x 77.3 x 8.0 mm, and its weight is 213 grams.
The display measures 6.7 inches and is based on a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. It offers Full HD+ resolution with a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display does not support LTPO technology, so the refresh rate is more traditional.
Powered by Samsung's own 4-nanometer Exynos 2400e processor, which is a refined version of the Exynos 2400 used in Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ phones. The phone features 8 gigabytes of RAM and storage options of 128, 256, or 512 gigabytes.
The rear camera setup includes three lenses: a 50-megapixel optical image stabilization primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel optical image stabilization telephoto camera with 3x zoom. The front-facing camera is a 10-megapixel sensor. Notable updates in the cameras include ProVisual motor that combines low-light capture, generative image editing, and AI Fusion features.
The battery capacity is 4700 milliamperes, which can be charged at 25 watts using a USB-C cable. Samsung promises to charge the phone from zero to about 50% in just 30 minutes. The Galaxy S24 FE also supports wireless charging. Other notable features include an integrated fingerprint scanner on the display and stereo speakers.
The operating system is Android 14, running on top of One UI 6.1. Samsung promises 7 years of Android version updates and 7 years of security patching for the phone. In terms of features, it includes the same Galaxy AI capabilities as in other high-end Samsung phones.
Samsung announced that sales of the Galaxy S24 FE will begin in Finland on October 4th. The price is €799 for an 8+128 gigabyte version and €859 for an 8+256 gigabyte version.
