The film will be available on digital platforms from October 1st and then on Blu-ray on October 22nd. That's quite quick: the movie came out on July 24th. However, the flick didn't need much time to earn over $1 billion. A huge success for Marvel, which now has the opportunity to bring Deadpool into the Marvel universe since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox.

Whether we'll see Deadpool in a new Avengers movie soon remains to be seen (how does that crying Thor thing work?), but at least the red-and-black anti-hero seems very well-received. The film earned an impressive €403 million in its first weekend, making it the highest-grossing debut ever. We think that's entirely justified: the film is delightful to watch, though you do need to enjoy blood and violence, plus a few naughty jokes here and there.

Now you know when you can watch the film from your own lazy chair, although you still have the option of seeing it in the cinema: it's still playing. If you want to watch at home, you can start doing so from October 1st on digital platforms.
