Netflix Puts Out Another Insane Sci-Fi Action Film

Netflix is set to release another striking title: The Predator. In this insane sci-fi film from 2018 – the sixth installment in the Predator series – a group of soldiers find themselves in a bloody battle with an extraterrestrial super-soldier when his ship crashes on Earth.

The director is none other than the renowned filmmaker Shane Black. He previously directed, among others, the Marvel film Iron Man 3 (2013). It's also cool to note that he played a cameo role in the original Predator film from 1987.

The Story
Military operative Quinn McKenna (Boyd Holbrook) and his team are on a mission when their spacecraft crashes right next to them. Soon, they are attacked by a Predator, but luckily, McKenna manages to get the upper hand. Biologist Casey Bracket (Olivia Munn) examines the creature, but then it comes back to life.

Meanwhile, the mask of this Predator falls into the hands of Rory (Jacob Tremblay), the son of McKenna. This genius manages to understand the extraterrestrial technology, but with that, he also draws the attention of the super-soldier. Ultimately, McKenna and his team must do everything in their power to defeat the Predator.

On Streaming
The Predator is a film with a well-known recipe. As expected, this sci-fi action film is full of brutal violence. Black has added his characteristic layer of humor to it. The result is an entertaining popcorn movie that streams nicely on a free evening.
