Titan Multitool with "Eternal" Handle
This new tool is designed for creative individuals. It features a handle that, according to developers, can draw a line 10 kilometers long.
A compact tool made of stainless steel or titanium with interchangeable elements named Ti-One has appeared on Kickstarter. According to New Atlas, unlike other multifunctional tools, Ti-One is geared more towards creative people. The basic version includes a fixed knife, two blades, flat and cross-shaped screwdrivers, one durable handle, a ruler, a belt loop, and a "glass breaker."
The multitool is convenient thanks to magnetic bits that can be fixed in two places: at the end or in the middle. In the first case, it will be a regular screwdriver for tightening. You can also unfold the ruler to get a lever. And in the second case, the tool can be used as a T-shaped handle for additional force.
The functionality of the tool can be expanded by choosing from additional accessories: a set of 24 bits for various types of fasteners, straight and flexible extenders, 12 colors of ink for the "eternal handle," and 9 specialized blades for crafts.
Additionally, the tool can be equipped with radioluminescent tritium inserts, which provide constant illumination in the dark. This is especially convenient when working in conditions of insufficient lighting, for example, when searching for a key in a lockhole.
The tool is very small - 90 mm x 10 mm x 10 mm. There are additional accessories: a leather case, a titanium clasp for a pocket, and a titanium necklace to wear around the neck. The titanium version weighs only 21.7 g, and the stainless steel version - 37.5 g. Therefore, you can carry the multitool on keys or in a pocket.
The tips for the "eternal handle" - both standard black and optional color sets of 12 shades - have unique properties. They create clear, non-fading lines on almost any surface and are incredibly durable. The manufacturer claims that one tip can draw a line 10 kilometers long.
The stainless steel version of Ti-One is available on Kickstarter for $59. The titanium version costs from $79. This is 40% lower than the retail price.
Previously, the Canadian company Pichi Design had incorporated a compact multitool into a saw.
