Gmail now extracts important information from emails

Google has added a new feature to Gmail that automatically extracts key information from emails and presents it in a convenient format. Now users don't have to spend time searching for the necessary data – the service will display confirmation numbers, tracking numbers for shipments, flight information, and other important details right at the top of the email.

The new feature works with categories such as purchases, events, accounts, and travel. Simply typing the name of an airline in the search bar will give you access to a card with flight details.

Google assures that summary cards will not occupy the entire inbox and can be disabled at will. The company emphasizes that this update is not related to the use of artificial intelligence.
