Intel Drops Unique Lunar Lake Technology

The Intel Lunar Lake line, known as Core Ultra 200V, despite positive reviews, is likely to lack a direct successor.

Insider reports that Intel has no plans for the next-generation processors that would utilize the unique characteristics of Lunar Lake, such as integrated memory, powerful integrated graphics, and low power consumption.

Rumors about modified configurations of Lunar Lake have also been debunked. The lack of inactive cores in Lunar Lake makes it impossible to create improved versions, as a new chip would need to be designed.

The success of Lunar Lake may be temporary, and Intel seems unlikely to develop this line in the near future.
