Will Bitcoin’s creator be revealed in two days? HBO announces documentary about Satoshi Nakamoto

HBO claims that its new documentary will finally reveal the identity of Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto.

Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery will be released on October 8. It was directed by Emmy-nominated director Cullen Hobuck.

The HBO platform itself, of course, does not give any hints, but there are rumors that in the film the main contender for the role of Nakamoto will be named Len Sassaman - American technologist and developer of the anonymous code of the remailer Mixmaster. He was also involved in the development of Pretty Good Privacy and GNU Privacy Guard, programs without which digital security is unthinkable today. Sassaman committed suicide in 2011.
