Xiaomi to Double Production of Vehicles

On October 1st, Xiaomi announced that its sales in September exceeded 10,000 units, marking the fourth consecutive month of exceeding this mark. The company now plans to surpass the 20,000 unit mark in October, as stated by Xiaomi Group founder Lei Jun.

According to unofficial sources, Xiaomi SU7 shipments in September ranged from 15,000 to 16,000 units. In October, the weekly shipment level could reach 5,000 units.

To increase production capacity, Xiaomi has implemented several innovations in its factory layout and production technologies, significantly boosting production efficiency. The application of AI technologies also increased the efficiency of each stage of the production line.

Previously, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun officially stated that in 2024, Xiaomi Automobile's division set a goal to deliver more than 100,000 units of the Xiaomi SU7.
