Samsung did a great job. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE with the Exynos 2400e chip is more powerful than the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and iPhone 16
The first fan tests of the new Samsung Galaxy S24 FE have appeared online, and they suggest that the model's performance is at a very high level.
For example, in Geekbench tests, the Galaxy S24 FE scored 2146 points (in single-core) and 6711 points in multi-core. For comparison, the Galaxy S24+ scores 2201 and 6926 points respectively. Yes, the budget Galaxy S24 FE lags behind the full flagship, but only slightly.
In the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme GPU test, the Galaxy S24 FE scored 3870 points. Here, the Galaxy S24 Plus is noticeably faster (he has 4565 points), but the gap from the iPhone 16 Plus on the new Apple A18 SoC is small - only 4% (the result of the Apple device test is 4029 points). In the 3DMark Solar Bay ray tracing test, the Galaxy S24 FE scored 8242 points. The Galaxy S24+ is ahead (8743 points), but the iPhone 16 is noticeably lagging behind (6691 points). And in all tests, the Galaxy S24 FE was noticeably faster than the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL.
In other words, the Exynos 2400e, on which the Galaxy S24 FE is built, was practically no worse than the Exynos 2400. Users are unlikely to notice the difference in performance in real-world applications and games.
