The September event on Apple''s rearview mirror is about a month, and it looks like it''s time for some fresh equipment. Nonetheless, analysts believe Apple will ditch the event in favor of press releases instead. The first, however, might be just days away with a new iPad Pro.

In a new report from Mark Gurman''s newsletter, the analyst writes that the M2 iPad Pro will be released within days. Gurman is extremely reliable when it comes to Apple rumors, correctly reporting on Beats, iPad Airs, iPhones, and more. However, we would not be surprised to see the new Pro models this week. It will be the first update to the device since 2021, and will likely include a lighter upgrade.

Expect the same 12.9-inch and 11-inch iPad Pro sizes. There is a possibility the 11-inch iPad will receive a mini-LED display, but it is more likely this may be greater in the iPad, according to reports. The new iPad Pro will provide MagSafe and reverse wireless charging, but these are more like wild cards.

In 2020, Apple launched the iPad Pro refresh via a press release in March. Plus, everything appears to work well here. This week, Apple will likely be launching the iPad Pro again. Besides, it will be expected to release the new iPad Pro earlier this month. Moreover, with Apple event invitations usually going out at least a week earlier, we''ll be a little bit anxious for the next week.

If you have an older model without M1, the new M2 chip inside would provide a significant performance boost. However, you''ll likely benefit too much from M2 more than the current M1 chip, as long as that''s the model you''re rocking. It''s absolutely worth keeping an eye on this week''s iPad Pro release.
