Motorola spawned a lot of buzz earlier this year, when it launched its Moto Edge 30 series in India. Notably, the company received eyeballs with the launch of the Moto Edge 30 Ultra, which is thought to be the first smartphone in years, according to China. Motorola is also expected to launch a follow-up to its premium smartphone, with a new Moto X40.
Moto X40 (Moto Edge 40 Pro) specifications
According to a recent study, China-based blogger, Digital Chat Station, on Weibo, Motorola is set to unveil the Moto X40 in China in the coming months, shortly after Qualcomm unveils its next-generation flagship chip. The latter is expected to take place in November this year, where Qualcomm is teased to launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
This might make the Moto X40 one of the world''s first smartphones to be powered by the new Qualcomm flagship processor. Yet at present, devices such as the iQOO 11, the OnePlus 11 Pro, and the upcoming Galaxy S23 series are all expected to be launched on this chip, and in the first quarter of 2023 itself.
