Several users of Meta''s Facebook are concerned about losing the majority of their followers on the social media platform due to unknown reasons. Meta''s founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has lost more than 119 million followers, reducing his follower count to less than 10,000.
"Facebook created a tsunami that wiped away my nearly 900,000 followers and left only 9000 on the shore. I''m kind of like Facebook''s comedy," Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen said.
A Meta spokesperson said when contacted, "We''re aware that some people are seeing inconsistent follower count on their Facebook profiles," and we''re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. We''re sorry for any inconvenience.
According to Meta, the company on Tuesday unveiled the Quest Pro, a virtual and mixed reality headset that is intended to help the company enter the higher-end market for extended-lived computing devices. The device was unveiled during its annual Meta Connect conference. Customers in the United States will be able to purchase it at $1,500 (roughly Rs. 1,23,400) on October 25, according to Meta.
The company has stated that the newly released Meta Quest Pro may be used as a productivity device, as well as social and gaming-focused features. Meta is hoping that the device will be used by creative professionals, such as designers and architects.
