Apple hasn''t begun releasing 5G services for iPhone 12 and above devices. According to the Bharti Airtel website, Apple is yet to update its software for iPhone 12 and above users. So far, there has been no official information on the timeline for Apple to update its 5G software. However, it has been reported that Apple will make the necessary adjustments by December this year with the release of a new iOS update.

According to a report from ET Telecom, Apple is aiming for a 5G service in iPhone 12 and above devices by December. This might come with a iOS update for Apple smartphones.

Apple is reportedly reportedly testing its devices for Airtel''s 5G services in major cities such as Delhi and Mumbai. Besides, the Cupertino-based company is said to be conducting tests for the 5G roll out on Jio''s network. However, there has been no confirmation from Apple or Airtel officials on the matter.

According to a research, Google Pixel smartphones will provide the 5G services to users via a software update in December. Moreover, a number of 5G-supported smartphones with Airtel network are yet to receive an official update for the 5G roll out on them. These include Samsung, Motorola, Asus, Honor, Lava, LG, Nokia, and Tecno.

Officials from the Department of Telecom (DoT) and MeitY will meettelecom operators and smartphone companies on Wednesday to discuss the use of 5G services on a large scale in the country. Besides, members of the Department of Transportation and the Ministry of Electronics and IT will also sit at the conference to discuss teething 5G issues.

The audience of the meeting revolves around a discussion about allowing handsets to begin supporting 5G services on India''s 5G networks.
