During the trial, customers will only pay for their existing 4G plan and will not be charged an additional amount for 5G data.

"5G cannot be an exclusive service for the privileged few or those in our major cities. It must be accessible to every citizen, every residence, and every business across India. Only then we can dramatically increase productivity, earnings, and living standards across our entire economy, thus creating a prosperous and inclusive society in our country," said Ambani.

The company will gradually develop the beta trial service for other cities, and users will continue to benefit of this beta trial until the city''s network coverage is substantially complete, ensuring that every customer receives the best possible coverage and user experience.
