Nvidia has withdrawn a new Game Ready Driver, not just for the RTX 4090 ...

Following the RTX 4090 release on October 12, the new game Ready Driver is now available for download. This program is designed to help you broaden your potential with the beastly graphics card. The new driver also enhances performance for the RTX 3000 series cards.

This is an important addition for those who wish to replace our current beloved graphics card - or those who keep the RTX 4090 for a while while waiting to get it on the market, according to a stock alert page. On the Nvidia website (opens in a new tab) the driver is proposed to improve performance for the RTX 3000 series graphics cards, but we suspect these benefits will extend to the RTX 2000 series as well.

The driver reveals DLSS 3, which Nvidia claims to increase performance on the RTX 40 series cards four times more. So far there have been over 35 DLSS 3 games, including F1 22, Gotham Nights, and A Plague Tale: Requiem. Not all of these will be enabled with DLSS 3 compatibility immediately.

Nvidia isn''t forgetting the owners of older GPUs, according to an analysis.

The owners of previous generation cards will be out of the loop, and the new driver will allow you to play these DLSS 3 games with the DLSS 2 Super Resolution (the new name Nvidia has given to the technology that now precedes DLSS 3) and the Game Ready Driver will make your setup prep for your newly released DLSS-capable games as well as the upcoming titles with the DLSS that are right around the corner.

The Game Ready Driver is compatible with several Nvidias GPU generations, and it is good to see that it is available for purchase through GeForce Experience, or by downloading them from the Nvidias website (opens in a new tab).
