The release date for Windows 11 22H2 Moment 1 may be a real time ...

Microsoft released the 22621.675 (KB5019509) build to the Release Preview channel Insiders yesterday. File Explorer, Taskbar Overflow menu, and other new things to all Release Preview Channel Insiders. Although these builds are expected to release sometime soon, evidence suggests the build 22621.675 might be the release candidate for the Windows 11 22H2.

When they saw something indicating that the new Release Preview channel build might be Moment 1, a Twitter user and Windows enthusiast. PhantomOcean3 was doing what they do best, e.g., exploring Windows.

The feature ID "39145991" that allows the Moment 1 features has apparently been set to 15 which implies that it cannot be altered with ViveTool that is used to enable and disable hidden Windows features. Consequently, the features will remain always enabled likely indicating that the build 22621.675 (KB5019509) might indeed be Moment 1.

Notably, ID 39145991 (needed for Moment 1 features) has an override of 15 meaning it cannot be changed with ViVeTool anymore, meaning Moment 1 features are always enabled and cannot be disabled So, even more likely KB5019509 = Moment 1 pic.twitter.com/JTPrjKxF5F

The general release of the Moment 1 update might be completed, but the Windows 10 22H2 GA may be compatible with the future update if recent leaks are any indication. References of the next Moment 2 update have also begun surfacing, although it is unlikely to touch the public before 2023.
