What's new to your iPhone? iOS 16.0.3 is now available ...

With this iOS 16.0.3 update, Apple has released the most recent version of iOS 16, which is focused on fixing a number of early bugs since the release of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro.

This isn''t a simple step-up for Apple''s latest phones. iOS 16.0.3 also includes a few useful changes for iOS 16 users, which means anyone who has an iPhone 8 and later can benefit from this feature.

The first of the iOS 16.0.3 improvements is a solution for a problem many iPhone 14 users have with incoming calls and notifications not appearing or only appearing after a delay. A bug on the iPhone 14 has also been addressed, ensuring that you stay on hand when driving.

Cameras on both iPhones are required for the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro users. Some have found the camera slow to start, while others have encountered a lengthy delay in transitioning between the standard 12 mp camera and the mind-blowing new 48MP proRAW camera mode.

If you have had trouble using the iOS 16 Mail app recently, you are not alone. On startup, iOS 16 users across all compatible devices have reported difficulties with crashing. This was due to receiving a misformed email and has now been resolved.

This is too early to explain if this latest update may rectify another issue which affects iOS 16 users. Despite initially believing it was linked to the new haptic keyboard initially introduced in iOS 16, users who have disabled this feature have not noticed any improvement in battery life.

Many believe the first version of iOS, the 16.1 update, will be a considerably larger update with additional fixes and tweaks. The iOS 16.1 beta is already available and includes a handy lock screen upgrade.
