The Google Play Points Play Store rewards program, which allows users to earn points for every activity they do on the Google Play marketplace, will be launched in the coming weeks. The program, which includes four levels known as Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, will now be available in 28 countries.
On Tuesday, the search giant announced the introduction of Google Play Points in India in a blog post. Google will let users earn points when they make purchases with Google Play, including in-app items, apps, games, and subscriptions.

Google is developing a platform with several popular apps and game developers to redeem points for special in-app items. In India, Google has partnered with over 30 players including game titles like 8 Ball Pool, Evony: The King''s return, Ludo King, and Ludo Star, along with apps like Truecaller and Wysa. Moreover, users may redeem their points for Google Play credit. The program is currently available in 28 countries, according to Google.
In the next week, Google Play Points will be available to all users in the country. The program is free to join and there is no recurring or monthly fee. It can be accessed by tapping your profile icon from the Play Store app on your Android device.
Google Play Points was first launched in Japan in September 2018 in order to enthuse users to purchase more through the Play Store. It was later unveiled in South Korea and the United States in 2019. In selected countries, Google Play Points may be redeemed to rent a movie or purchase an audiobook. In the United States, points may be used to assist a charitable cause.
