Dead Space remake is getting a gameplay trailer tonight. Developer EA Motive has scheduled a YouTube premiere for 8:30pm IST/8:00am PT, putting players in control of Isaac Clark as they traverse the Nercromorph-infested, claustrophobic ship, USG Ishimura. The remake will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X. There is no word on a last-gen console release.
EA Motive has established a solid foundation for its fan base, with just a few months left to go for the release. In their latest blog post, creative director Roman Campos-Oriola revealed that the team met with community members every six weeks, to gain feedback and make improvements accordingly, to the Dead Space remake. Really, really early in development, we started discussions with some members of the community who were identified as diehard fans, according to him. We met with them every six weeks, roughly, and they gave them full access
EA Motive has been relatively open about its development process, with no camera cuts, and frequent adjustments ensuring the entire game finishes out like a one-take scene. This new technique, however, will ease the player''s breathing and prepare them for the next dose of fear. In the original 2008 game, imagine this on the Impossible mode.
The Dead Space remake attempts to modernize the story while maintaining the core plot beats, while expanding on the larger lore elements. This would include content from the previous games Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3, which were only included in audio logs. For example, secondary characters will have a larger examination via narrative sidequests, giving an unprecedented perspective to veteran generations. Every animation, every texture, every effect or piece of enemy behaviour has been rebuilt in the new engine.
EA Motive is working on a single-player Iron Man game that encompasses Iron Man''s rich history. Olivier Proulx, who previously worked on Marvel''s Guardians of the Galaxy game, is the director of the project.
The remake of Dead Space will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X on January 27, 2023.
