The Discord link, which has been hacked, is intended to redirect people to his Everydays - 2020 Collection'' on the OpenSea NFT marketplace.

Another Twitter user who follows the username of @maxnaut had apparently identified the hack before the NFT artist launched an alert.

As of today, it remains unclear if the hack was caused by Discord''s security mismanagement or if there were other breaches that were exploited by the hackers.

In the midst of the Discord link in the affected Opensea listing, it appears to have disappeared.

Beeple is being harmed by crypto scammers but it does not come as a shocker because his NFT pieces have been discovered to generate substantial sales.

Beeple''s account slashed a fake link to a website of a fashion designer Louis Vuitton, which if clicked on, would steal the user''s cryptocurrency.

Governments around the world are restricting their oversight over the crypto industry due to a tumultuous set of scams, rug-pulls, and hack attacks.

Hong Kong, for example, was recently top of the world''s most crypto-ready country on the Worldwide Crypto Readiness Report, which was enlisted by scammers eager to tread the line in the first six months of 2022. An alarming 105 percent increase in crypto scams in the same period in 2021.

Just this month, the US Department of Justice (JJ) formed a group of over 150 federal prosecutors, who will collaborate on keeping crypto crimes in mind.
