WeTransfer, a popular service that allows users to transfer large files and is being used by a large number of internet users across the globe, has been down. However, it has also confirmed that it is experiencing downloads, uploads, and other services. However, it is not confirmed whether the issue is limited to India or affects users in other areas. When it comes to the platform, a few members of the Gadgets 360 team provided details of the issue.
Several team members at Gadgets 360 reported that the WeTransfer service was unavailable on their networks. We found that the service''s download and upload status page was experiencing errors. The issue is still unknown, and the company has announced that it is investigating this issue via the status page.
Despite a number of download attempts, we were unable to download a file shared with us. One team member said that it reached 99 percent on one attempt before it started again. For some, the download began, but was restarted after 4-5 seconds.
There is no indication on when WeTransfer will be operational again. The free version allows users to upload files of up to 2GB in length, while the Pro version allows for a transfer of up to 200GB of files or folders, and the service also allows users to select when transfers expire.
If you are one of those who may be experiencing this problem, you may use other file transfer services, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and other consumer cloud services, until the issue is resolved.
