The new Google Cloud Web 3 division, headed by James Tromans, says it will focus on blockchain applications and improving user experience.

In a media session, Zavery expressed intention to make the Google Cloud Platform the choice of developers. However, the VP also doubled down on this statement, highlighting the new group''s''supporting role in crypto development.

The services offered by the Web 3 group will be similar to those offered by major technology companies, including Alibaba and Amazon. It is important to note that in January, Google Cloud announced plans for a Digital Assets Team to collaborate with its customers. This came after the massive growth of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and at the time, Google was exploring cryptocurrency payment options.
