The Motorola Edge 30 India launch is expected to happen very soon, according to a fresh leak. The Motorola Edge 30 is set to launch in the United States on May 12th. The Motorola Edge 30, powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ processor, has recently made its global debut. It also has a 4,020mAh battery and robust charging capability.
Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) on Twitter suggested the India launch date for Motorola Edge 30. As per the leak, the Motorola Edge 30 might be India''s first Snapdragon 778G+ SoC powered phone. However, Motorola hasn''t revealed any information about the smartphone''s date yet.
The handset was unveiled in several global markets in April last week at a starting price of EUR 449.99 (roughly Rs. 36,300) for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant. The handset is also expected to be priced similarly.
Motorola Edge 30 specifications
Specifications of the Indian version of Motorola Edge 30 are expected to be similar to those of the global version. The dual-SIM (Nano) Motorola Edge 30 was launched worldwide on Android 12-based My UX and features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400) pixels OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G+ processor and includes 8GB of RAM.
The Motorola Edge 30 has a triple rear camera setup, comprised of two 50-megapixel sensors and a two-megapixel depth camera. The handset also has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone has 256GB of inbuilt storage.
For biometric authentication, the Motorola Edge 30 has five charging modes: 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a proximity sensor. Sensors on board include a proximity sensor, a accelerometer, a gyroscope, a compass, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
