Amazfit is reportedly developing a new premium rugged smartwatch Amazfit Vienna and the T-Rex Pro 2 which is said to feature a 1.39-inch AMOLED display. The Amazfit Vienna, on the other hand, will reportedly feature a 1.28-inch AMOLED display and 20 ATM waterproofing. Both wearables will be able to track over 150+ sports modes with an updated BioTracker 3.0 PPG biometric sensor, according to a new report.

According to GSMArena, Amazfit is planning to launch the Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2 and the Amazfit Vienna soon. The two devices are expected to launch this summer, although the pricing details of the handsets have not been disclosed.

Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2 specifications (expected)

The Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2 is expected to come with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 450450 resolution and 1,000 nit peak brightness. It is reportedly compatible with the T-Rex Pro and the T-Rex, which features a ruggerised plastic build along with a silicone strap. The smartwatch is said to come in various colours, including Astro Black, Classic Black, Gold, and Wild Green.

The wearable is said to feature a new BioTracker 3.0 PPG biometric sensor that will measure heart rate and blood oxygen. Over 150 sports modes, along with PAI scores, sleep and stress levels, are expected to be tracked with the Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2. The smartwatch is also expected to include sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and gyroscope.

The wearable may include dual-band GPS and a Bluetooth v5.0 for connectivity. The product is expected to include a 10ATM water resistant rating and military-grade toughness with 15 MIL-STD-810G certifications. The Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2 is said to have a 500mAh battery that can last up to 24 days with mixed usage and up to 10 days with heavy use.

Amazfit Vienna specifications (expected)

The Amazfit Vienna, a previously famous Chinese smartwatch manufacturer, is said to be a step above the upcoming Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2. The Vienna is expected to feature a premium titanium and sapphire glass design. The wearable will also reportedly include a 1.28 inch AMOLED display with a 416416 resolution and 1,000 nit peak brightness. The Amazfit Vienna is expected to have 32GB RAM and 4GB storage.

The Smartwatch is said to have the same health and sports modes as the T-Rex Pro 2. This means that the Amazfit Vienna may also come with a new bioTracker 3.0 PPG biometric sensor to measure heart rate and blood oxygen. The Vienna is reportedly used to track over 150 sports modes as well as PAI scores and sleep and stress levels.

Due to the lack of eSIM capabilities, The Amazfit Vienna is said to be unlikely to support independent discussions.

The Amazfit Vienna is reportedly expected to have a 20ATM water resistance capacity. It will reportedly feature a dual-band GPS and an Bluetooth version 5.4.1 for connection. The wearable will reportedly last on a 500mAh battery cell and is said to provide up to 14 days battery life as part of the typical usage.
