Smeg joins forces with Veuve Clicquot for FAB fridges of the special edition

Smeg joins forces with Veuve Clicquot for FAB fridges of the special edition ...

Smeg has launched limited editions of its FAB28 and FAB10 fridges to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Veuve Clicquots winery (it does what it says on the towel) and established way back in 1772.

The FAB28 is a smashing full-sized fridge, but the near-silent 970 x 545mm FAB10 is an ideal champagne cooler. Both are finished in a strikingly bright Veuve Clicquot yellow.

This is not the first time Smeg has collaborated with other companies for limited-edition products, including in the past two years, with Disney, Coca Cola, Dolce, and Mini. The 10K Fiat 500 drinks fridge is also included in this latest expansion, as part of Veuve Clicquots Icons project, collaborating with other iconic brands to commemorate the opening.

The larger fridge is capable of fitting in 54 standard champagne bottles and comes with metal racks so you may keep your champagne at its best.

The Verve partnership is a perfect match, but the limited run comes at a cost that is significantly above the standard for Smegs, including the FAB10 retailing for 2500 and the FAB28, for 3500, although they aren''t as expensive as the Dolce & Gabbana products Smeg previously performed, some of them even hand painted.

Both of the Smeg / Veuve Clicquot fridges will be available from November.
