Google has introduced a new feature that will allow users to "check the status of app installs on other devices" they own. The company has also added enhancements to enable for faster and more reliable app downloads and installation.
Google has redesigned its child-friendly Kids Space, which allows users to hide recommended apps during onboarding, and also to install Kids Space on a tablet''s secondary user account during device setup.
A number of new Wear OS enhancements are coming to users this month, including account syncing and account recovery, a new display format that hopes to simplify finding recommended apps, automatic companion app installation, and a new secondary menu on Android devices that allows users to browse recommended apps for their Wear OS devices.
According to Android Police, no of these security updates or changes are currently visible to users on their devices, which might be a case of Google announcing updates before actually making the server-side switches required for the changes to reflect on them.
Added visibility when users lock, unlock, or start their automobile with a digital car key, additional support for new payment methods on Google Pay in Japan, as well as a choice to include open loop transit agencies on the list of purchasable transit passes.
