Andor's B2EMO is the best droid ever to move over R2-D2 and C3PO

Andor's B2EMO is the best droid ever to move over R2-D2 and C3PO ...

One of my first reactions was, "Who is this red droid that I must protect against any and all harm," when I learned that this droid is named B2EMO? I practically fell in love with this stout red droid and its hilarious name.

Yes, for the first time, we have a droid that has great potential and is seemingly-playfully named. It''s apparent that the two may be connected. And this is why B2EMO is one of the best parts of the show, as I had to highlight the droid in my Andor review.

From B2EMO''s early moments in Andor, you may feel an attachment to it (let''s promise to protect it from Andor''s Syril Karn) and that''s before it even speaks, and offers a dialogue that is of a standardized standard with those of other Star Wars movies. But personally, I''d rather converse with B2EMO than C3PO when it comes to protecting data. Although I''d maintain this belief, I''d rather use B2EMO to patrol

As well as Diego Luna said to EW (opens in new tab) that "B2 is a fantastic friend. It''s like the perfect droid. I must say, it''s a fantastic piece of design, first of all. The guy behind it is amazing. He''s very kind and has a lot of potential."

So, let''s dive into everything about B2EMO. Of course, this means we''ll go over some spoilers from Andor, so beware spoilers for Andor episodes 1-3 below!

Why B2EMO is the best droid in ages

As much as K2SO (voiced by Alan Tudyk) and BB-8 (Bill Hader and Ben Schwartz) were clever and adorable (respectively) charmed us. As much as C3PO and R2-D2 are classic droids, B2EMO is distinct because it gets everything right about why we love droids. For starters, its stout size and vertically-adjusting design make it feel like a certain few dogs (Shar Peis come

B2EMO, which is unique during its first appearance, is incredibly versatile. On top of that, Tony Gilroy reveals that when asked for B2EMO, he requested "a salvage droid" and "a family dog."

It''s B2EMO''s personality that makes it utterly memorable. When ''Bee'' (as some characters call it) first talks to Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), we hear it rattle about finding a lack of answers. That, along with a stutter, makes B2EMO one of Andor''s best characters, at least per-word.

Another outstanding B2EMO character is its ability to deduce the truth. As Cassian adds, it takes power for B2EMO to lie. After one of B2EMO''s retorts, we realize that Andor''s requesting it to lie twice. B2EMO, in such a way, is so responsive and patient (sorry, Threepio, but you grate).

B2EMO is also the family droid

For as much as B2EMO can be seen as another member of the show''s working class, B2EMO is definitely the Andor family''s good dog. Not only does Cassian remove a slew of metal out of it in the first episode, but it will also benefit you from Cassian''s adoptive mother, Maarva.

When Cassian decides to leave for his own safety, B2EMO argues with him to stay, and I swear I could nearly feel a house pet pledging (non verbally) for its owner to avoid going out to work in the process.

Because I cannot escape the fact that B2EMO''s lack of control makes it much more adorable and fragile. When Cassian sends to the droid, and it plays when it shouldn''t, and puts everyone in danger my own wants to protect it even further.

Andor''''s B2EMO voice actor is a familiar name

Dave Chapman is known for being a puppeteer on one of everyone''s previous favorite droids, the rolling dynamo known as BB-8, according to the credits.

This is a significant step-up for Chapman, transitioning from controlling BB-8 to being the scene-stealing B2EMO. At first, I assumed B2EMO was completely voiced by someone else, according to Alan Tudyk, Cassian Andor''s Rogue One droid, K2SO.

B2EMO toys are out there

Frustratingly, however, they already cost an arm and a leg. For example, the rather-small (Galactic Figures (opens in new tab) has it clocked in at 3.75 inches) Disney Star Wars Droid Factory B2EMO action figure is currently $24.99 on eBay (opens in new tab) and $54.99 at ToyWiz (opens in new tab) high marksups above the $12.99 MSRP.

Outlook: I need more B2EMO

While I believe that B2EMO will not be over-exposed or resembled to death, I expect it to happen. That''s why I am assuming that the B2EMO shirts will work. One will likely say, "that''s two limitations."

I wager that the B2EMO Funko Pops will be fantastic too. Don''t be shy about the B2EMO stuff, however. And B2EMO has better have plenty of scenes in the Andor episodes that weren''t shown to the press. That would be a mistake.
