The company has announced the launch date for the ZTE Axon 30S, which has also included an under-display selfie camera. The ZTE Axon 30 5G, which runs MyOS 11, has also revealed a 6.92-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with 20.5:9 cinema-grade content. The ZTE Axon 30 5G is powered by a 4,200mAh battery and 55 Watt fast charging.
The ZTE Axon 30S will be officially launched on September 26, according to a Weibo report. A recent study by GizmoChina said the ZTE Axon 30S will also feature an under-display camera, measuring 7.8mm in diameter and weighing 192 grams. Like the selfie camera, the upcoming ZTE Axon 30S will likely measure 7.8mm in thickness and weigh 9.8 grams.
The Axon 30S is the successor to the ZTE Axon 30 5G, which was originally launched in China this July.
The ZTE Axon 30 5G, which runs MyOS 11, is based on Android 11. It has a 6.92-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20.5:9 cinema-grade aspect ratio. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate.
The ZTE Axon 30 5G has a quad rear camera setup, which features a 64-megapixel sensor with an f/1.79 lens. The camera setup also includes a 5-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The ZTE Axon 30 5G has a 4,200mAh battery with a 55W fast charging. There is a triple ice cooling system that includes a large VC liquid cooling plate, a high power thermal gel, and a graphene copper-based composite material.
