Ashwini Vaishnaw, the telecom industry''s minister, has reportedly assured the Telecom sector of further action, but says that the sector should also do its part in significantly improving the service quality. Vaishnaw, according to the minister, said the efforts to improve quality services in India must be more than one-sided and reciprocal.

According to a recent survey by PTI, Telecom Minister Vaishnaw has promised further improvements in the Telecom sector. He also stated that the Telecom industry must do their bit to significantly improve the quality of the services that they provide.

He said that the telecom operators and the infrastructure providers should take the lead on improving quality services in India. He also reminded of that the actions cannot be one-sided and that the equations will have to be resolved.

Vaishnaw mentioned that the journey of 5G in India would be exciting, implying that the government has provided a target of 80 percent coverage in a relatively short time period in India.
