The Samsung Galaxy S23 release date has just been set for February, and here's what we can know abou ...

When will we see the next generation of the finest Android phones, the latest Samsung Galaxy S23 rumor may have revealed. It may coincide with the Galaxy S22''s arrival earlier this year.

According to reports from SamMobile (opens in new tab) the battery for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus has been registered with Safety Korea (opens in new tab). The body has confirmed that it has registered batteries in South Korea, and its database does show the battery certified as of September 6. The model number suggests that the Galaxy S23 Plus will be used with the SM-S916B, the likely middle phone in Samsung''s three releases next year.

This is because to historical events, and the Galaxy S23 lineup will be released in February 2023. In September 2021, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus battery was certified in similar manner and was then certified this past February.

Given that the Galaxy S22 Plus has been released alongside the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, it is logical to anticipate that Samsung will follow suit by releasing the rumored Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra all at once.

Latest Samsung Galaxy S23 rumors: Battery

The battery''s appearance is quite blurry, therefore we cannot determine battery capacity. Ningde Amperex Technology Limited has also made the batteries for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. However, it is difficult to infer anything based on that connection.

All we can do is get the battery back on the Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup, since battery life on most models was somewhat unfavorable. There are still concerns that the battery size might be identical at least for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Samsung might use a different manufacturer for the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus, but there is no indication in the future. It would be odd for Samsung to give its lower-end models a battery boost and not its flagship.

Other Samsung Galaxy S23 rumors

Aside from the battery, there are a few other concerns about the next year''s Samsung flagship. Samsung is expected to ditch the Exynos chipset for the supposedly Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset across the Galaxy S23 lineup. Previously, Samsung used different chips in different regions.

There is a possibility that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200MP camera. The current main camera on the Galaxy S22 Ultra is a massive 108MP sensor, which is already behind the 48MP iPhone 14 Pro Max main camera, at least in terms of megapixels.

However, despite its enormous size, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is now on our list of best camera phones, so maybe Samsung is getting an increase if it wants to jump ahead of Apple or the Google Pixel 6 Pro. Suppose you include the Google Pixel 7 Pro Pro for a smartphone at a dinner held on October 6th, long before the Galaxy S23''s introduction in February.
