Microsoft was seen laying out a new Windows 11 LTSC brand ...

The Microsoft client release of Windows 11 21H2 nearly a year ago, and it also took center stage, but the implementation of the Windows 11 IoT Enterprise software continued until today. The latter provided support for useful new technologies such as Windows Subsystem for Linux GUI (WSLg), USB4, Wi-Fi 6E, and more.

Microsoft, however, did not release a Long-Term Servicing Channel for Windows 11 IoT Enterprise. According to a recent leaker and Twitter user, Xeno suggests that the company might soon release one.

The ntdef.h kernel header of the Windows SDK has revealed a new possible Windows 11 SKU, formerly known as "IOTENTERPRISESK," with the hex ID "0x000000CD." According to Xeno, the new IOTENTERPRISEK denotes the upcoming Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC Subscription SKU.

Is there a new SKU coming? I''ve been told that "IOTENTERPRISESK" is "Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC Subscription" pic.twitter.com/kvSUdcBfKr

Here is a winver preview of the build. As you can see, the OS version here is clearly described as Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC Subscription.

The non-LTSC Windows 11 IoT SKU was released last year shortly after the client 21H2 release, so it is possible that the company intends to do something similar this year. However, the Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC Subscription release may not be too long.
