According to a recent tweet from teaser Teme (@RODENT950), the Huawei P50 Pocket New will be powered by a Snapdragon 778G SoC. In contrast, the P50 Pocket, which was launched last year in December, now features a Snapdragon 888 4G SoC. The alleged leaked poster indicated that this new variant will not include a cover display.
At the time of launch, the P50 Pocket New is expected to come in 256GB and 512GB onboard storage options that will reportedly cost CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 60,000) and CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs.80,000) in China. These prices are significantly lower than the previous P50 Pocket CNY 8,988, which cost 256GB and CNY 10,988, which cost about 1,25 billion people.
The unveiled poster suggests that the P50 Pocket New will come in Crystal White and Obsidian Black colours. It is expected to feature an XMAGE ultra-wide image sensor. It will apparently include a single 120Hz OLED screen. It might be used on HarmonyOS 3.
