The Redmi Note series, which includes the Redmi Note 12, may be launched later this year in China and early next year in international markets. A noted expert has examined the camera and charging specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12.
According to a study citing a noted tipster Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Note 12 will come with a 50-megapixel primary wide angle shooter and a 120W fast charging. The tipster also referred to the smartphone as a China version, but it is likely that the global versions of the Redmi Note 12 may also come with similar capabilities.

Earlier, Redmi product manager Lu Weibing said the Redmi Note series will be renewed every six months and will be positioned as a small flagship for performance and limited flagship for experience. Two Redmi phones, believed to be Redmi Note 12 models, were spotted with and 22101316UG model numbers, where the G is believed to stand for the global variant.
