This night, the 74th Emmy Awards took place, and as expected, Apple TV+ received a lot of recognition. Jason Sudeikis earned the award for Outstanding Lead in a Comedy Series for his role in Ted Lasso. The show also earned the honor of the night.

Apple TV+ got 52 Primetime Emmy nominations across a variety of topics into the night, with a steady stream of wins throughout the night.

Ted Lasso made one of the most impressive appearances of the night, claiming the title of Outstanding Comedy Series, and beating out several equally amazing shows (Abbott Elementary, Barry, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Hacks, Only Murders in the Building, What We Do in the Shadows).

On the flip side, the Apple TV+ original Severance did not take home the wins across the top categories in which it was nominated. Severance was knocked out by Succession. Adam Scott was nominated for in the Drama category, but that award was given to Lee Jung-Jae of the Squid Game.
