Despite its ElectionGuard voting system, the company has been working on a number of occasions for years now, demonstrating security and affordability for the election process. Across the country, AccountGuard, a service that safeguards the digital security of political parties and the like, was expanded outside the United States last year.
Microsoft has announced today that its Accessibility and Democracy Forward wings, in collaboration with the Center for Civics Design, have introduced a new tool called the Disability Voting Index. The new version is designed for disabled people as a way to improve accessibility throughout the elections process.
